Properties & units

Properties are buildings or assets. Units are the rentable spaces inside them. Draft vs published controls when owners and tenants can see them.

Add a property

  1. Open PropertiesAdd Property (or use Quick Add → Property).
  2. Enter name, address, and other details you need.
  3. Save.

Depending on Require publish approval in account settings, the property may be saved as a draft. Open the property and click Publish when owners should see it. Owners linked while it was a draft are notified on publish.

Manage a property

On the property page you can:

  • Edit details and upload images
  • Add or remove property owners by email
  • Attach and enable payment configurations so tenants can pay online
  • Duplicate the property
  • Delete the property. You cannot archive or delete a property with an active tenancy. With only past tenancy history, delete archives the property instead of removing it permanently. With no tenancy history, delete removes it permanently
  • Restore archived properties from the archived list

The same active-tenancy rule applies when deleting a unit.

Units

On the property Payment & Units tab, add units (name, floor, size, bedrooms, and so on).

Open a unit to:

  • Edit details and images
  • Add a tenant when the unit is vacant
  • Manage the current tenancy, leases, and history when occupied

Continue with Tenancies, leases & payments.
